Moving Hearts in Concert - Irish Tour 2009

The legends that are Moving Hearts return to the stage as part of their "Unfinished Business" tour. This ground-breaking band, who have inspired many well known traditional musicians to follow in their footsteps, are famous for their thrilling live performances since coming on the scene in 1981. The recently reunited line-up includes renowned producer and composer Donal Lunny (Planxty,Bothy Band) on bouzouki, the legendary Davy Spillane (Bryan Adams, composer & solo recording artist) on uillean pipes, Eoghan O’Neill (Chris Rea) on bass, Keith Donald (Louis Stewart, Gerry Mulligan)) on saxophone, Noel Eccles (RTE National Symphony Orchestra, Riverdance, Sting) on percussion, Liam Bradley (Van Morrison, Boyzone) on drums, Anto Drennan (The Corrs, Genesis) on guitar and Graham Henderson (Sinead O'Conor, Paul Brady) on keyboards. Performing tunes from “The Storm” album and other recordings for which they are well known and hugely respected for. A concert not to be missed.

Moving Hearts nominated for Meteor Ireland Music Awards 2008


Moving Hearts have been nominated in the Best Irish Folk Traditional category in Ireland's celebrated Meteor Music Awards. The ceremony will be held in Dublin's RDS on Friday 15th February 2008. Also nominated are Damien Dempsey, Tommy Fleming, Kila, Majella Murphy and Sharon Shannon. The winner will be decided by Irish music industry experts.
